New cards from VMAX Rising have been officially revealed. Double Colorless Energy is almost coming back, it has been renamed to Twin Energy and will be nerfed for GX and V cards.

We now have images to confirm how they look and this will be the Voltage Beat version of Rillaboom. These also contain the new Reverse Holo pattern for this Generation.

The Rillaboom, Inteleon and Cinderace Theme Deck Decklists for the upcoming Sword & Shield Theme Decks have been revealed. These are based of the new Rillaboom, Inteleon and Cinderace cards from Sword & Shield Base Set.

A Snorlax / Morpeko Pin Collection is coming this spring. These seem to feature unrevealed promo's. These are likely yet to be revealed in Japan. These will release on April 3, 2020 (June 5, 2020 for Europe) and will cost $14.99.

We finally are seeing some SM12a Tag All Stars cards with this TAG TEAM Powers Collection. This box will contain the Special Art cards of Espeon & Deoxys GX and Umbreon & Darkrai GX.

The Mini Tin collection series returns! This time in the Galar Region with various Galar region Pokémon. It looks again to be illustrated by Naoki Saito. These will cost $8.99 per tin and will release on April 3, 2020.

Sword & Shield Base Set Prerelease is very close, and the first openings have already been started. Youtube channel Drackenrose already got their hands on some Prererelease kits. They went for a repeating pattern reverse holo effect for this generation.

The Pokemon Card Game Sword & Shield Merchandise line-up for February has been partially revealed. These products will release on the same day as the set S1a VMAX Rising releases on February 7, 2019. These are Pokemon Center Exclusive products.

Play! Pokémon has revealed the expected First turn Supporter rule that prevents the first turn from playing Supporter cards. Also the much anticipated Regulation Mark has been announced officially. Pokémon Korea has announced a exclusive limited 2019 Christmas themed Playmat with Pikachu, Snorlax, Psyduck, Mew and Eevee. This playmat is only obtainble at Pokemon Korea Headquarters as a limited release.

A new set AC2a / AC2b "Dreams Come True" set have been announced for Taiwan and Hong Kong. These contain contains the cards in the US version of SM5 / SM8. 

Pokémon Korea has revealed a special product named TAG TEAM GX Tag All Stars Special Kit. This product contains 2 deckboxes, 1 deckbox with Tag All Stars artwork and 1 original design deckbox. 

You can obtain this Morpeko 032/S-P Promo if you participate in the Pokemon Card Game Champions League 2020 Aichi event. I believe this is the first Sword & Shield TCG Champions League promo. 

The product contents of the Zacian & Zamazenta Box have been revealed. Along with this product, 2 new promo cards of Zacian and Zamazenta have been revealed, which are exclusive to this product.

New January 2020 products have been revealed. The Pokémon Card Game Sumi-e series returns with another wave of products. These products have been illustrated by the famous Japanese Sumi-e artist Sumi-e Okazu. These feature designs of Pikachu / Rayquaza and Raikou / Entei / Suicune. 

Toxtricity V, Rillaboom V, Cinderace V, and Inteleon V have been revealed before Japan got them officially revealed. The Toxtricity V Box will likely be based on the Rebellion Crash Special Set, based on the second set of Sword & Shield. 

A new wave of Poké Ball tins have been revealed.

Our good friends over at PidgiWiki have provided us with some early TCGO images. These contain high resolution artwork of the upcoming Sword & Shield TCG set in February. These will be the TCGO backgrounds. 

During December 14th and the 15th, there will be the following tournaments that use the Starter Set V decks for the "Pokemon Card Challenge!" event.

February TCG Merchandise for Japan has been revealed. These will release on February 7, 2020.
