Arceus VSTAR along with the VSTAR Mechanic has been revealed today.

Not much info has been revealed in this trailer, but VSTAR has been teased in a new trailer named the Pokemon Card Game 25th Anniversary Special Video that is commemorating the 25th Anniversary of Pokemon TCG.

This card is from S9 and we believe it should be Star Birth that is releasing on January 14, 2022. Star Birth is as of now, not yet officially revealed. The ability on the Arceus VSTAR card is literally named 'Star Birth'.

Update: The English version of the trailer has officially revealed Arceus VSTAR in English language. Also official high quality images added of the Japanese Arceus V and Arceus VSTAR. Arceus V, is the same card with different art as the Arceus V Pre-order bonus promoN-DESIGN Inc. that has illustrated Arceus V, is a new (3DCG) artist.

Stay tuned for more information in the future. The Japanese Pokemon Card Game website has officially announced to reveal more information on November 3, 2021.

VSTAR cards evolve from Pokemon V cards. VSTAR Power is a once per game mechanic like the GX Moves we know. Worth noting: Nothing says VSTAR Power has to be an Ability. It also gives up 2 Prize cards when Knocked Out.

VSTAR cards are Triple Rare (RRR) rarity cards, the same rarity as VMAX cards. S9 in Japan will have 100 cards (plus SR cards or better) in it's main set. The English SWSH9 set will have 172 cards in it's main set.
