Update 8-10-2020: We now have found the Dummy Pack artwork. It's confirmed to be called S5I Single Strike Master / S5R Rapid Strike Master. Features both forms of Gigantamax Urshifu (Single Strike Style /  Rapid Strike Style). More info will likely come after S4a Shiny Star V has been released.

Previous article:

The trademarks filed a while ago that we covered, happened to be indeed meant for the 2nd year base set of the Sword & Shield TCG! (S5) Single Strike Master / Rapid Strike Master has been listed at Japanese retailers, the set after S4a Shiny Star V.

Like we predicted back then, a dual set based off the Isle of Armor Expansion featuring both forms of Urshifu. Japanese Sword & Shield Base set came as a dual set too named S1H & S1W Sword & Shield.

We haven't confirmed ''S5'' set as the set final number, but its still a placeholder for us, it's an assumption but there's no set planned after S4a Shiny Star V. It will likely be split into S5x & S5x just like S1H & S1W was.

  • Each set will contain 70 cards + secret cards (SR or better).
  • It will release on January 22, 2021.
