SV1a Scarlet & Violet Enhanced Expansion Pack Triplet Beat Officially Revealed

Scarlet & Violet Enhanced Expansion Pack Triplet Beat, the first subset of the Scarlet & Violet series, has been officially revealed.


This set is centered around the Paldea Starters, which include the newly unveiled Meowscarada ex, Skeledirge ex, and Quaquaval ex. In addition to these starter Pokemon, the set will also feature other Pokemon such as Paldean Tauros and Oricorio.

Triplet Beat will also mark the debut of new Supporter cards such as Dendra and Clavell, and a new Stadium card called Artazon. A new type of Special Energy called Luminous energy has also been revealed. And for those who have been fans of the Pokemon Trading Card Game for a while, Superior Energy Retrieval will be making a comeback with a reprint, after its original debut in the Black & White Plasma Freeze set.


Update 17-02-2023: Paldean Clodsire ex, Dedenne ex (Tera type), Mismagius, Boss's Orders Ghetsis, Lesson Studio have been revealed.

Triplet Beat features not only regular cards, but also Art Rares and Special Art Rare cards, which have been revealed to include AR cards of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly.

Once during each player's turn, that player may search their deck for a Basic Pokémon that doesn't have a Rule Box and put it onto their Bench. That player then shuffles their deck.
