A new set AC5a / AC5b "Double Burst" set have been announced  for Taiwan and Hong Kong. These contain contains the cards of various TAG TEAM GX sets.

S1a VMAX Rising SR/HR/UR cards are being revealed today. The second expansion set of Sword & Shield!

Lapras Gigantamax Playmat and Quick Ball League Cup Promo have been confirmed to be the League Cup rewards for the Sword & Shield seasons. Lapras Gigtantamax artwork is based off the pack artwork of Sword & Shield. With this generation they have also changed the font again on the playmats. 

The full digital scans have been revealed for Sword & Shield (Base Set). Cinderace is revealed as the League Promo Season 2 Promo card. Inteleon is not yet revealed, but we assume it will be the last promo card. 

The set list for S1a VMAX Rising has been revealed. Boltund V, Dubwool V, and a Skyla reprint have been revealed!

Diggersby has been revealed from S1a VMAX Rising.

Game Mania Utrecht in the Netherlands will have a midnight release of Sword & Shield TCG on February 6, 23:30 (Dutch time).

Gyarados has been revealed from S1a VMAX Rising.

Galarian Obstagoon from Sword & Shield will be the next store promo if you spend a certain amount of money on Pokémon products in participating stores. 

Barbaracle has been revealed from S1a VMAX Rising.

Official information has been sent to card stores in Japan, that Dragapult V alongside the earlier revealed Toxtricity V will be part of Rebellion Crash.

PokeGuardian reader Mark R has informed us about the existence of a what it seems to be a Walmart Exclusive Giratina Mini Portfolio 2 Pack Blister. We have not seen this product before, it seems to be released recently. 

New cards from VMAX Rising have been officially revealed. Double Colorless Energy is almost coming back, it has been renamed to Twin Energy and will be nerfed for GX and V cards.

It was known for a while that Rillaboom would be the League Promo for Sword & Shield Season 1, and Frosmoth as the League Challenge promo. We now have images to confirm how they look and this will be the Voltage Beat version of Rillaboom. These also contain the new Reverse Holo pattern for this Generation.
