V-UNION has been officially revealed, and they are fighting in groups of four!
These are called the Special Card Set Greninja V-UNION / Zacian V-UNION / Mewtwo V-UNION. Also a promo card of Professor Burnet has been revealed and will be included in each V-UNION set.
According to ToineLay, V-UNION cards will have the following rules/mechanics:
- You can only play them on your bench from your discard, when all 4 different parts are in your discard pile
- V-UNION cards give 3 prizes when Knocked Out
- V-UNION cards have a bunch of attacks and Abilities
- V-UNION cards are neither Basic nor Evolution Pokémon
- Also you can only play 1 V-UNION card with the same name during a match (all 4 parts share the same name), but you can play other V-UNION cards with another name alongside it
- You can only summon one of each V-UNION card per battle. So for example, one Mewtwo V-UNION gets Knocked Out, you can't play it again from your discard. But you could still play Zacian or Greninja V-UNION
This product will release on August 20, 2021 and will cost 1650 yen.

Whenever your opponent plays an Item card from their hand, prevent all effects of that card done to this Pokémon.

This Pokémon can't be Poisoned.

Once during your turn, you may look at your opponent's hand.

Attach up to 2 Water Energy from your discard pile to this Pokémon.
W - Aqua Edge 130
WWC - Whirlpool Shuriken
This attack does 100 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.

Good thing this is just a deck thing for now.
I heard they were going to add this to a future set in September I hope not.
This whole idea seems ridiculous to me.
