Skyscraping Perfect / Blue Sky Stream Boxes Allegedly Have No Guaranteed SR Card in Each Box Anymore

No SR or better anymore in each box?

There have been reports cirulating around on Twitter by Japanese collectors that the new Japanese sets S7D Skyscraping Perfect and S7R Blue Sky Stream do not have the guaranteed SR or higher rarity card in each booster box anymore.

Before you read: Please mind there is no official confirmation by The Pokémon Company about this, so please take this speculative article with a grain of salt for now.

Guaranteed SR or higher boxes in every booster box started with SM5S Ultra Sun / SM5M Ultra Moon. The guaranteed SR or higher in 1 booster box started first with SM3H To Have Seen the Battle Rainbow / SM3N Darkness that Consumes Light but only was limited for the first printruns at the time up until SM5 Ultra Sun / Moon started doing it in every box.

The Pokémon Company usually tweets out on their Social media account if a new set has 1 SR or higher guaranteed in 1 booster box. They did not tweet this out during Eevee Heroes and Skyscraping Perfect / Blue Sky Stream. The last time they did this was with Silver Lance / Jet-Black Poltergeist in April 2021.

Their last tweet today about S7 did not contain any information about 1 SR in 1 Box guaranteed.

Some people were speculating it could be a factory side error, but the lack of the regular advertisement by TPC makes it seem less likely to be an error.

Below are some tweets posted by people who have reported to have opened an S7 box, only to find no SR or better.

Update: Added YouTube video from someone that opened 1 booster box on camera without getting any SR card (look around the 10 minute mark).

What do you think? If this story is true, will you still buy booster boxes in the future? Let us know. We personally hope it's not true.

Update 10-07-2021: There are also multiple reports circulating around that claim to have pulled 3 SRs or better in 1 S7 Booster box.

Again, there is no official confirmation by The Pokemon Company, so take it with a grain of salt.
