Rumour: 'MEGA Expansion Pack Abyss Eye & Storm Emeralda' Sets Coming in May and July 2026

We've received some first details on what it seems, the third set of 2026 for Japan slated for release end of May 2026, named MEGA Expansion Pack Abyss Eye.

This set is called:

MEGA Expansion Pack Abyss Eye

(ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック アビスアイ)

This set would launch on May 22, 2026, with each booster box containing 30 packs.

• The set size is unknown for now.
• 1 Booster box includes 30 packs.
• Booster box price is 6000 yen.

This is the first set to have a retail price of 6000 yen and 200 yen for a single pack, instead of 5400 yen for a booster box and 180 yen  for a single pack.

Storm Emeralda

We've received some first details on what it seems, the fourth set of 2026 for Japan slated for release end of July 2026, named MEGA Expansion Pack Storm Emeralda.

This set is called:

MEGA Expansion Pack Storm Emeralda

(ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック ストームエメラルダ)

This set would launch on July 31, 2026, with each booster box containing 30 packs.

• The set size is unknown for now.
• 1 Booster box includes 30 packs.
• Booster box price is 6000 yen.

Along with Storm Emeralda is listed a Pokemon Card Game Collection File Premium Mega Rayquaza.

This product would launch on July 31, 2026 and would retail for 2200 yen.
