Oversize Pikachu at the Museum Promo Card Revealed, for Pokémon x Natural History Museum ‘Pokécology’

Will you be with Pikachu, at the Museum?

The Pokémon Company International and the Natural History Museum London revealed more details of the ‘Pokécology’ theme pop-up shop that runs from January 26 to April 19, 2026.

Including this collaboration, is a commemorative oversize (Jumbo card) Pokémon TCG Promo Card featuring Pikachu at the Museum, available as a gift with purchase at UK retailers.

Purchases made in‑store at the Pokémon pop-up shop (Cranbourne Boutique shop), will include the new Pikachu at the Museum oversize Pokémon TCG Promo Card as a gift with purchase. Currently, all tickets are sold out and there are no time-slots available for the museum, walk-ins will not be possible.

However fans who are not able to visit the museum, will have the chance starting from Friday on January 30, 2026, to alternatively obtain the unnumbered oversized black star promo card as a gift with purchase at select UK retailers, giving more fans the chance to share in the excitement of Pokémon’s first collaboration with a UK museum.

This promo will not be available via Pokémon Center, it will also not be made available online.

The card has been illustrated by Naoyo Kimura, who also illustrated the Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat Promo Card more than 2 years ago.

According to TPCi:

"Many of the products will also be available online through the Natural History Museum’s online shop from midday on 26 January 2026⁴, while stocks last. Select ranges will also launch on Pokémon Center, the official UK store for Pokémon merchandise in early February. Fans can sign up for Pokémon Center emails to be alerted when products become available. Purchase limits will also apply to online orders.

Purchases made in‑store at the pop‑up will include the new Pikachu at the Museum oversize Pokémon TCG Promo Card as a gift with purchase. From Friday 30 January, the oversized card will also be available as a gift with purchase at select UK retailers, giving more fans the chance to share in the excitement of Pokémon’s first collaboration with a UK museum. It will not be available via Pokémon Center.

All profits from purchases made in the Museum shop and from its online store, including Pokémon products, support the Natural History Museum’s charitable mission, including the work of 400 scientists conducting research and finding solutions to the planetary emergency."
