The Pokémon Company International has revealed the Pokémon World Championships 2025 Worlds Celebration promo card.
The card features Pikachu with the official World Championships 2025 logo stamped on it. This year’s World Championships will take place in August in Anaheim, California.
The SVP 225 promo was first unveiled through a teaser trailer shown at the conclusion of the 2025 Pokémon North America International Championships over the weekend. As of now, only the card itself has been revealed, with no official details yet on how it will be distributed. More information is expected to be announced in the coming months.
The card artwork includes Iron Thorns along with subtle references to Anaheim, the host city.
Update: TPCi has stated on Pokemon.com that "Trainers around the world should also stay tuned for more information on how they can receive this special card at select retailers."
Based on past years, such as the Worlds 2024 Pikachu store Promo Card, it’s likely the distribution will follow a similar pattern.
Once additional details are available closer to Worlds, we will update this article accordingly.
Update 22-07-2025: Between August 11 & 17, 2025, Play! Pokémon locations will host the 2025 Worlds Celebration tournaments. Every location, winners in the Junior, Senior, and Masters divisions will receive a 2025 Worlds Celebration Pikachu Promo card with a WINNER stamp.
Also the Pokemon 2025 World Championships Competitor Welcome Kit has been revealed as well as this year’s Pokémon World Championships Pikachu plush, which will only be sold at the on-site Pokemon Center store at Worlds 2025.
