Over 10 Billion Pokemon Cards Sold in Fiscal Year 2024-2025

Pokemon cards sold very well, but not as well as last year!!!

The Pokemon Company has released their worldwide sales data for fiscal year 2024/2025 (as of March 31, 2025), and they have produced 10.2 billion Pokemon cards, for a lifetime total of over 75 billion cards. Interestingly enough this is the first time in years that they didn't outproduce it's previous fiscal year. Last fiscal year they produced over 11.9 billion cards.

When compared to last year's financial results of 11.9 billion cards, the sales difference (a decrease of 1.7 billion cards) is -14.28%. In addition, the number of card production has also increased by 15.56%, from 64.9 billion to 75 billion.

That is good for 13.59% of their lifetime sales sold in their fiscal year of 2024/2025.
