We have first information about our next upcoming Special (Dual) set named (SV10.5) Scarlet & Violet - Black Bolt / Scarlet & Violet - White Flare.

This (dual) set is based off the Japanese Black Bolt / White Flare dual set which releases next month in June. We now have product images and the first set information.

As stated in the Japanese version, this set is made around all 159 Unova Pokemon from the setting for the adventures of Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. I believe this is the first ever time TPCi is releasing a set this way in 2 different sets.

From what we have seen (not 100% confirmed), the first products of this set releases on July 18 and August 1, 2025.

Black Bolt / White Flare booster packs will not be sold in traditional Booster boxes, so look for them in specialty products.

The Pokemon Company International has officially revealed the latest split expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt and Scarlet & Violet—White Flare.

Launching worldwide on July 18, 2025, this first ever dual set takes players back to the Unova region as seen in Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. All 156 originally discovered Unova Pokemon are featured in both sets. The split expansion introduces new rare card styles, nostalgic elements from the Black & White Series, and a variety of exclusive products starring Zekrom, Reshiram, and Victini.

• First products release on July 18, 2025.
• TPCi is calling this a "split expansion".
• Features all 156 Unova Pokémon.
  • Split across Scarlet & Violet — Black Bolt and Scarlet & Violet — White Flare
  • Each Unova Pokémon gets an illustration rare or special illustration rare
• Found in products from either expansion (not sold in traditional Booster boxes)
• Black Bolt / White Flare will introduce the highly styled Black White rare cards, which will feature card illustrations in a monochromatic black or white design.
• No mention of Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box as of now.
• Each expansion will include three different parallel foil sets, two of which will feature either a rainbow Poké Ball or Master Ball pattern shimmering across the card.
• Some cards will feature a nostalgic foil pattern and Basic Energy cards featuring the original Black & White Series designs.
• White Flare includes Keldeo ex (confirmed).
