You can win prizes soon in Japan with the Start Deck 100 products!
The Start Deck 100, that will have 100 different decks releasing in Japan on December 17, 2021, will have a tournament dedicated for it named the Pokemon Card Game Start Deck 100 Event.
This tournament will be held during January and March 2022. There will be 100 events total with each (qualifying) tournament having 50 players. A total of 5000 participants will enter during this period. These tournaments will be held at Pokemon Card Gym stores.
A final tournament will take place on March 20, 2022 that contains 100 players that have placed first on the qualifying tournament the player has participated in. The winner of this final tournament will be awarded a complete set of 100 decks included in the Start Deck 100.
Of course, you have to play with a random Start Deck 100 in this tournament (you will be sold one randomly at the store).
Also a special Start Deck 100 stamped Ultra Ball promo + sticker will be given out as a participation reward for these tournaments. Also the Top 2 will get a special 1st place / 2nd place sticker.
We can assume, since only 5000 participants can enter during this period, there will be 5000 copies made available to these players of this Ultra Ball promo.
