A Golden Magikarp is making it's return!
Shining Magikarp & Lugia have been revealed from the S8a 25th Anniversary Collection set.
Lugia has been revealed and will be part of the main set of the S8a 25th Anniversary Collection set. You can play this card in standard format.
Also Shining Magikarp originally released here in Neo Revelation, will be part of the 25th Anniversary Edition Promo Card Pack. It will get a reprint with foil and from what it seems, texturing treatment. It was released in Japan in the Pokemon Card ★ neo expansion pack 3 "Awakening Legend" and as a Fan Club promo.
This card is almost a direct reprint of it's original version, and as such, may not be used in official Tournament play.
The 25th Anniversary Collection set will release on October 22, 2021.
These cards will most likely be included in our International 25th Anniversary Celebrations set.
