Set Description

(Translated by ToineLay, thank you very much!)

FUSION is a new battle style, comparable to ICHIGEKI (Single Strike) and RENGEKI (Rapid Strike).
Made of Pokémon with various powers, it will expand the strategic options and make for several meta-impacting decks that players will enjoy.

Mew VMAX will be the poster ‘mon for the Fusion style. It will be able to fight in a large variety of ways, worthy of the Pokémon that can use every single move in the video games. Mew VMAX decks should have an impact on the meta comparable to that of Rayquaza and Duraludon.

The Fusion Arts set will include plenty of cards to help build a Fusion deck. New players starting this summer should have no trouble making a deck.

Pretty lack luster for a 25th anniversary.
I think we ere all hoping for a vintage reprint similar to the Evolutions set.
For a collector like me these jumbo packs and mini packs are just not my thing.

the lack of any mention of v-union whatsoever on the sell sheets for both sets has me hopeful that the mechanic will remain exclusive to promos and i dont have to ever worry about pulling mewtwos left foot out of a booster pack
