Amazing Rare and Legendary Beat Trademarked, Could Possibly Mean a New Set and Card Rarity

Published on 24 February 2020 at 20:14

Game Freak, Creatures Inc. and Nintendo have registered new trademarks that we will most likely see used in the future.

伝説の鼓動 / Densetsu no kodō / Legendary Beat (Heartbeat?)

アメイジングレア / Ameijingurea / Amazing Rare

Legendary Beat could mean a new TCG set for Japan. This trademark could also possibly refer to the Legendary Pokémon Eternatus.

Amazing Rare could very possibly mean a new card rarity or maybe a new set.

We think Amazing Rare could be a new card rarity, but we are very careful about jumping to conclusions. Nothing is confirmed and this is all pure speculation, nobody outside of these companies should know more.

Time will tell what will happen with these trademarks.

What do you think? Let us know!

Thank you abcboy101 for the information.

I think that previous "World Down" trademark will be for the Eternatus set and "Legendary Beat" will probably be for the set focused on the new Mythical (since it looks like a monkey and the new movie is basically Tarzan, so I'm thinking it refers to a jungle beat).

Could also maybe be Gigantamax Rillaboom but I don't think they'd use "Legendary" to refer to a non-Legendary/Mythical.
