More Megas!
At the end of the Pokemon World Championships 2025, in the closing ceremony, a new trailer showed us new cards and a new rarity Pokemon Trading Card Game.
This new rarity is called Mega attack rare (MA), this is a nod to the old Mega EX cards which exchanged Mega attack moves in English in Japanese version and Japanese in the English version. For now Mega Charizard ex, Mega Gardevoir ex and Mega Lucario ex have been teased.
We do not know in what set these MA cards release in. The Japanese version says m2a we can speculate that this is MEGA High Class Pack Mega Dream ex that is releasing in November, which may be the set these cards might be featured in, in Japan.
The regular version of Mega Charizard ex is confirmed to debut in the Japanese upcoming set Inferno X, which will come later in September 2025. Also Oricorio ex got shown off, this card is also included in the Japanese Inferno X set.
Also lastly Mega Dragonite ex got teased. When we know more we will of course keep you updated.
